SMS Messaging Terms

1. Verification Messages (One-Time Passwords)

When you provide your phone number and request a verification code, we send a single SMS containing a one-time password (OTP) to verify your identity. These are transactional messages, initiated by you, and do not require opt-in consent.

Standard message and data rates may apply.

Example: “Your 11ts verification code is: 123456. This code expires in 10 minutes.”

2. Event Notification Messages (Optional Opt-In)

You may optionally choose to receive SMS notifications about events you've joined or created, including reminders, updates, and cancellation alerts. This consent is separate from account verification and is NOT required to use the Service.

How to Opt In

  • Navigate to your Profile Settings at www.11ts.life
  • Check the “SMS Notifications” checkbox
  • You may also be offered this option after verifying your phone number

The opt-in checkbox is clearly labeled, not pre-checked, and states:

“I agree to receive SMS text messages from 11ts for event notifications and updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”

Consent is never pre-selected, bundled with other agreements, or required for any purpose.

What Notification Messages Include

📅 Event Reminders

Reminders about upcoming events you have joined.

Example: “Reminder: 'Yoga in the Park' starts tomorrow at 10 AM at Gallup Park.”

🔔 Event Updates

Important notifications about events (changes, cancellations).

Example: “Update: Location for 'Community Cleanup' changed to Burns Park.”

❌ Event Cancellations

Alerts when events you've joined are cancelled.

⚠️ Account Security Alerts

Alerts about suspicious activity on your account.

Example: “A new device was used to sign in to your 11ts account. If this wasn't you, contact support.”

3. Message Frequency & Rates

Estimated Monthly Volume: Up to 1,000 messages (varies by user activity).

Message Frequency: Varies. Typically 1-5 messages per week per user, depending on event activity.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier will apply. Contact your carrier for pricing details.

4. How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving notification SMS messages at any time using any of these methods:

  • Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message from 11ts. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further notification SMS.
  • Profile Settings: Uncheck “SMS Notifications” in your Profile Settings.
  • Contact Support: Email support@11ts.life or call/text (810) 207-1127 to request opt-out.

After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further notification SMS. You can continue using 11ts with email authentication and email notifications.

Note: Opting out of notifications does NOT affect verification codes — you can still request OTP codes at any time by entering your phone number.
